We are very pleased to announce that our company will be performing with the famed Suzanne Farrell Ballet in a program featuring George Balanchine’s "Diamonds" Oct. 12-16, 2011 in Washington, D.C.  When Farrell first contacted The Sarasota Ballet in early December, the famed former prima ballerina and Balanchine muse said she had been watching the company closely in the past few seasons and was very impressed with the consistent quality of their performances.  Sarasota Ballet Director Iain Webb is credited with revitalizing the 20 year old Sarasota Ballet with an infusion of widely diverse repertoire building on the company’s technical and dramatic strengths.
