Joe Gibbs, the NFL Hall of Fame Coach who won three Super Bowls and who is currently the owner of the Joe Gibbs Racing Team, winners of three NASCAR Championships, is coming to Sarasota to speak on “Lessons I Learned Along The Way”.
He will be the keynote speaker at Hope For The Children, an “Evening with Joe Gibbs” fundraiser to benefit Bethesda Outreach Ministries, a Sarasota based youth program that helps transform the lives of local inner city at-risk children.
Joe Gibbs has the third highest winning percentage in NFL history having won the 1982,1987 and 1991 Super Bowls, plus 4 NFC titles in 8 playoff appearances. His Joe Gibbs Racing Team has won three NASCAR Championships behind Bobby Labonte in 2000 and Tony Stewart, first in 2002 and again in 2005. Gibbs, a renowned motivational speaker has captured many of his life enhancing lessons in two books he has co-authored, Fourth and One and Racing to Win. Gibbs also founded Youth For Tomorrow, a residential program in Virginia that provides 24/7 care for at-risk teens.
Joe Gibbs will speak on Tuesday, October 14 at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota. The Gala Banquet dinner will include music by Sharon Scott, plus live and silent auctions. Antawan Smith, SNN6 Sports Anchor, will be the Master of Ceremonies. A VIP reception with Joe Gibbs for sponsors will precede the gala.
