Where Warm Mineral Springs
Natural Awakenings Magazine, Vision North Port, and Warm Mineral Springs are teaming up to bring World Wellness EcoFest to North Port on March 19-20, 2011. The event will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The 2 day event will feature over 150 exhibitors, two performance stages, 15 healthy food vendors, and two full days of entertainment, demonstrations and presentations - all themed around "Healthy Living on a Healthy Planet.”
This event is being hosted and organized by Natural Awakenings Magazine, Vision North Port, and Warm Mineral Springs. This is not a City hosted event.
The event will be free to the public, with all admissions waived for access to Warm Mineral Springs and the Fountain of Youth. Attendees are urged to car-pool as a show of support for a "greener" planet. There will be a $5.00 per vehicle parking fee, with all proceeds going to a non-profit organization.
There will be an attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the largest drum circle in history surrounding the springs at the close of Saturday's activities, accompanied by fire dancers and fire "spinners,” and a return visit by 'Ponce de Leon and his Band of Conquistadors'.
All area businesses are urged to showcase their products and services that support the wellness themes, including "green" industries; health care and fitness organizations; dance and exercise; recreation; and all other related activity.
