A group of 40-plus merchants and restaurants called the Venice Night Owls will be staying open late on Thursdays starting Thursday, Dec. 8. Participating Night Owls will stay open until at least 7 p.m., if not 8 p.m., so that you can come downtown and stretch your legs after work ... or squeeze in some shopping before dinner or a nightcap. The Venice Night Owls will continue each Thursday through April 5, 2012.
