January 25, 26, 27, 2013: The Sixth Annual Sarasota Indian Festival takes place at the Sarasota Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd, from 9-5 Friday, 10-6, Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday.
Experience the traditions and culture of the Native American people. Find hand made, one of a kind fine arts and crafts, paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, bead work and leather work, along with Native American food.
Matthew Horse and the Southern Horse drum will be sharing traditional Native American drumming, singing and various styles of dance throughout the weekend. Chippa Wolf from the Cherokee nation will join us with his Native horse show, Mark Barefoot, an award winning flute and drum maker will be the guest entertainer.
Tickets at the gate, $7 adult, $3 6-12, 5 and under are free. For more info:
