ROSEMARY RISING – DECEMBER 1ST 5pm to 9pm
The Rosemary District Neighborhood Association is proud to announce their Seventh annual Holiday Walk.
The businesses of The Rosemary District (Orange Ave to US 41 and Fruitville to 10th Street) are opening their doors as gracious hosts to display their showrooms and to support the special activities that are planned.
Activities include
- Santa Clause and Sleigh
- a holiday dog costume contest
- a tour of our Historical Rosemary District Cemetery led by Jeff Leherd
- an Ale tasting hosted Station 400
- cooking demonstrations by Publix
- a Martial Arts Show by the SSAS
- Complimentary yoga lessons at Rosemary Court
- demonstrations by Sarasota's Finest K9 unit
- meet and great with the Sarasota SWAT team
- up close and personal inspections of the awesome vehicles of the Sarasota Fire Department
- local artisans selling their creations perfect for that holiday gift.
- Last but not least, WSLR, our newest addition to the district, will be giving tours of their new studio
Additionally, scattered throughout the district, the musical talents of Joe Bonfiglio; Completely From the Mountains; Bud Buckley on acoustic guitar; Heart Machine; and Another Roadside Attraction will be performing. Green Hopper and Pedi cabs will be out for easy travel throughout the district.
