The catch ‘em all craze is taking over Marie Selby Gardens this Saturday morning. Families are welcome to join in on the fun and the first 25 participants will receive admission for half off!
What is it?
Pokemon Go is a augmented reality game where trainers “hunt” digital creatures all around town. There is an active community in Sarasota playing the game and it is a great way for visitors and their families to explore the city.
Marie Selby Botanical Gardens is not only a hot spot for the game, but also one of the most gorgeous attractions in the destination. Set upon 15 acres of Sarasota Bay, the Gardens is a oasis of greenery featuring more than 20,000 colorful plants. Wander through different environmental zones include native Florida, rainforest, desert and many more.
WHEN: 10 a.m. to Noon, Saturday, July 30 @ Selby Gardens
DEAL: HALF-OFF Admission to the first 25 players
INFO: We'll be dropping Lure Modules around Selby's 4 Pokestops. At noon, whoever holds the gym at the location will receive a swag bag!
OTHER PRIZES: Post your catches to instagram, tag Selby Gardens and use the hashtag #PokemonSarasota. Will be awarding random prizes to those who do.
