The Venice Symphony

Founded in 1974, The Venice Symphony has become the pride of South Sarasota County by providing cultural enrichment for residents and visitors. Our professional orchestra is led by Music Director/Conductor Troy Quinn. The concert season includes a mix of masterworks, modern classics and popular symphonic music performed from November through May at the Venice Performing Arts Center, with a Patriotic Pops concert in May at Cool Today Park, and a variety of respected long-standing music education programs.   The Venice Symphony is funded through ticket sales, private and corporate contributions, grants, Tourist Development Council, Sarasota County Arts Council,  and other philanthropic organizations. Our education programs have reached more than 45,000 students in the past 25 years.  The Venice Symphony provides music for the community that represents the highest quality of musicianship and professionalism.
