Wander down Fruitville Road from Central Avenue to Orange Avenue, and you will find yourself in the Fruitville Antique District. Antiques shoppers will delight in everything this two-block stretch has to offer. With more than 14 stores, you can find an array of merchandise including mid-century collectibles, yarn and knitting services, linens, folk art, architectural and patio items and jewelry of all kinds.
SPARCC’S Treasure Chest has great buys on consignment furniture, antiques and collectibles and supports victims of domestic violence.
Venture north on the Tamiami Trail (U.S. 41) for designer and couture clothing, jewelry and accessories and furniture at Designing Women, a consignment shop that supports local arts organizations and other nonprofits in the community.

In Sarasota, you'll also find everything from specialty shops to the eclectic assortments, like the antiques mall Antiques and Chatchkes (1542 Fruitville Road).
