Welcome to the Back Eddy Bistro! In 2008, Chef Ed Glennon and his wife Allyson fell in love with downtown Venice, choosing it as as the perfect spot to open their restaurant, The Back Eddy Bistro.
Find the Back Eddy at the far southwest end of the Miami Avenue shopping district, tucked into one of Venice's prettiest 1920s buildings. The comfortable and romantic dining room features a gallery with works by local artists. There's back room seating as well, and, for al fresco dining, a rear garden patio and umbrella tables along Miami Avenue. In the bar and along the back corridor you'll see Ed's collection of 1960s psychedelic concert posters and Grateful Dead memorabilia.
